*Attack on Titan Revolution* has returned with Update 3, bringing a host of quality-of-life enhancements, balance adjustments, and bug fixes to enhance the Roblox gaming experience. The team behind this update has rolled out a comprehensive set of patch notes that detail numerous tweaks aimed at improving the game's fast-paced action.

This update introduces the new Winter Tokens event, additional auras for the Armored Titan raid, and integrates Roblox chat into the central 2D lobby. While there isn't a single headline-grabbing feature, the cumulative effect of these smaller updates is designed to enhance gameplay fluidity and visual appeal.

It also includes fixes for skills like Charge and Founder's Will, alongside refinements to the newly introduced Thunderspears.

Update 3 focuses on resolving longstanding issues within this anime-inspired Roblox game, although it's lighter on new content compared to previous updates. Coming shortly after the content-rich 2.5 update, which introduced the Armored Titan Raid and Thunderspears, this patch sets the stage for future enhancements. 2x Winter Tokens Event

Quality of Life Improvements:

  • Roblox chat is now visible in the town central 2D lobby.
  • Added impact frames and SFX to Skill "Founder's Vengeance."
  • Added 2 new auras to the "Armored Titan" raid ("Abyssion" - Epic / "Digital Fracture" - Legendary).
  • Introduced a new refill icon.
  • Adjusted streaming properties on workspace for better performance on lower-end devices.
  • Changed map lighting from "Future" to "ShadowMap" for enhanced performance on lower-end devices.
  • Disabled the "Gameplay Paused" notification.
  • Players can now sell "Armored Titan Raid" cosmetic drops for gems (Marleyan Patch, Young Reiner's Attire).
  • Fixed grammar in the streak message.

Revamped Cutscene Handler:

  • General fixes to ensure all starting cutscenes are synchronized.
  • Cutscenes are skipped if loaded after another player has already loaded them.
  • Added a skip button for cutscenes.

Thunderspear Questline Framework Changes:

  • Fixed boxes not being removed from the player after shifting/ejecting.
  • Resolved the issue of the supply objective continuously happening post-completion.
  • Retrieving a box now only gives +1 of the quest to the player, not to everyone in the mission.
  • Boxes in the supply mission now spawn in random positions.
  • Questline no longer starts in missions for players not at prestige 1+.
  • Fixed the cart not appearing on the convoy horse for the outskirts spears quest.

Balance Adjustments:

  • Increased boss titan damage in raids by 5.0% per difficulty.
  • Modifier "Oddball" now increases objective damage.
  • Titan variation 'Duckers' now only spawns in Hard+ difficulty.
  • Titan variation 'Ragers' now only spawns in Severe+ difficulty.
  • Titan variation 'Leaders' now only spawns in Aberrant difficulty.
  • Reduced the cost of item "Emperor's Key" from 3,499 Gems to 2,999 Gems.
  • Increased "Battlepass XP" gain on mission completion.

Mission Enhancements:

  • Increased base chance of receiving a perk on titan kill in each difficulty (now affected by luck multiplier too).
  • Changed all perk rarity chances in each difficulty.
  • Adjusted difficulty drop chances (scrolls / serum).
  • Revamped the formula that applies the luck multiplier (uses cumulative frequency).
  • Adjusted objective mission end rewards (luck multiplier increased by 1.2x for gaining perks in these missions).

Raid Updates:

  • Changed item chances in each difficulty.
  • Fixed item "Armored Serum" bypassing the maximum cap of allowed serums.
  • Revamped the formula that applies the luck multiplier (uses cumulative frequency).

Thunder Spears Adjustments:

  • Increased M1 falloff damage.
  • Nerfed detonation range by 5.0%.
  • Nerfed self-damage explosion radius range.
  • Nerfed refill count by 1 in missions and 3 in raids.

Family "Reiss" Buffs:

  • Skill "Command" is now affected by memory "Tactician" and perk "Font of Inspiration."

Family "Fritz" Buffs:

  • Skill "Founder's Will" duration increased from 10s to 20s in shifter form, and from 15s to 20s.
  • Skill "Founder's Will" now affected by memory "Tactician."
  • Skill "Founder's Will" now buffs additional stats (Skill Cooldown Reduction, Injury Chance Reduction, Shifter M1 Speed, Swing Duration, Blast Radius).
  • Skill "Founder's Will" cooldown increased from 45s to 90s.
  • Skill "Founder's Vengeance" now gives +1 Extra Shift and Max ODM/TS Resources.
  • Skill "Founder's Vengeance" now provides 13s of I-Frames after the revive animation.
  • Reverted memory "Furyforge" nerf from 0.3% to 0.4% DMG for every 1.0% of health lost.
  • Buffed Perk "Maximum Firepower" to increase all TS Stats by 7.5% from 5.0%.
  • Changed Perk "Everlasting Flame" to only affect "Blast Radius" for "Spears," no longer increases "Swing Duration" for "Blades."
  • Added Perk "Explosive Fortune" to increase Conservation Chance by 15.0% from 10.0%, and a 7.5% chance to regain 1 Spear per kill from 5.0%.

Armored Titan Shifter (VEVO) Updates:

  • Courage: Shield gain now removed when expiry is reached instead of losing shield over time.
  • Charge: Now deals tick damage similar to roar.
  • Earth Breaker: Cooldown reduced from 40s to 35s, Damage Base increased from 30.5% to 100.0%, Damage Growth increased from 5.5% to 10.0%.
  • Heavy Attack: Now has proper AoE.
  • Passive: Reworked to scale with your Damage Reduction, similar to boxing mastery.
  • Phase Shift: Can now be turned off and on when re-used, Cooldown reduced from 99s to 25s.
  • Titan Toss: Miss Cooldown reduced from 6.5s to 4s, Stage 2 Cooldown reduced from 2s to 1s.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed titans sometimes T-posing when hitting a building.
  • Fixed shifting damage not properly converting with spears equipped.
  • Fixed thunder spears getting stuck on invisible hitboxes.
  • Fixed thunder spears not killing a titan if the player dies from it.
  • Fixed thunder spears sometimes not hitting colossal titans.
  • Fixed ability to complete achievements "Warbringer" / "Supremacy" with unintended modifiers.
  • Fixed dying to your own thunder spear while grabbed causing the titan to release you.
  • Fixed skill "Founder's Will" breaking hooks/gas if used before player fully loads in.
  • Fixed perk "Flame Rhapsody" not properly applying maximum crit chance.
  • Fixed chest/reward screen not being interactable after shifting/ejecting.
  • Fixed Female Titan's roar effect being visible 24/7 when shifting/ejecting on the Guard mission.
  • Fixed ability to fling the Escort mission objective by standing in front of the horse(s).
  • Fixed blades/spears buttons not appearing properly in equipment screen on mobile devices.
  • Fixed titans not attacking players standing directly beneath them.
  • Fixed hook assist sometimes breaking and not allowing attachment to objects.
  • Fixed ability to double boost on mobile while refilling.
  • Fixed shifter skills not hitting titan napes properly.
  • Fixed getting flung when picking up a titan.
  • Fixed follow rewards sometimes breaking the UI.
  • Fixed gems not properly stacking with memory "Gem Fiend" and family "Fritz."
  • Fixed getting stuck in the air after using thunder spear cutscene skills / skill "Chaos."
  • Fixed visual representation of perk "Black Flash" from raid chests displaying as the aura cosmetic.
  • Fixed inability to use thunder spear skills if a spear is fired just before a cutscene starts.
  • Fixed more hit inconsistencies with ODM/Shifter M1s depending on hit speed.
  • Fixed skill "Charge" flinging the "Armored Titan" raid boss.
  • Fixed skill "Charge" getting stuck on random objects.
  • Fixed inability to kill ice burst titans with the skill "Toss."
  • Fixed some clothing that collides with avatars.
  • Fixed perk "Peerless Commander."
  • Fixed ability to lose streak if the warning was on screen, shifted, and then disconnected/left the game.

Armored Raid Revamp:

  • Boss punches/skills can now deal damage to objectives.

Phase 1:

  • Defend 1 (Hard) / 2 (Severe) / 3 (Aberrant) boats over a period of time so they can successfully escape.
  • Raid automatically fails if 1 (Hard) / 2 (Severe/Aberrant) boats die before reaching the finish line.
  • Armored Titan boss has "Armor" which can be penetrated during this phase to deal real damage before Phase 2 starts.
  • "Armor" has 20.0% base DMG RESISTANCE, increasing up to 50.0% as armor decreases.
  • Soft cap prevents the "Armored Titan" from going below 75.0% HEALTH during this phase.

Phase 2:

  • "Armored Titan" enters the shift state, gaining increased speed, increased damage, and losing any remaining shield.
  • Damage dealt to the shield in Phase 1 converts into a higher damage multiplier for the "Armored Titan" in Phase 2, at a ratio of +1.0% damage per 2.0% shield gone.
  • Defeat him whilst fighting against waves of titans.
