One significant detail that has emerged is the decision to stick with a first-person perspective for the sequel, codenamed Project Orion. This choice may disappoint some fans who were hoping for a third-person view to see their character in action.

A job listing for a Senior Gameplay Animator emphasizes the need for expertise in crafting detailed first-person animations, particularly for weapon interactions and gameplay mechanics. The absence of any mention of third-person perspectives in this and other listings suggests a firm commitment to the first-person approach.

Another intriguing role, that of an Encounter Designer, points to the development of what the team describes as "the most realistic crowd system ever seen in games." This system will dynamically adjust to player actions, fostering immersive environments where NPCs interact naturally with their surroundings. The designer will work closely with other teams to create complex scenarios that offer multiple solutions, leveraging NPC behaviors, interactive objects, loot points, and environmental storytelling to enrich the gameplay experience.
