By EmeryOct 02,2025

Sony has announced a State of Play event scheduled for tomorrow, June 4.

In a PlayStation Blog post, Tim Turi, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s content communications manager, revealed that the event will feature "updates and reveals on exciting titles coming to PS5." Turi added, “The showcase spotlights a range of captivating games from developers worldwide.”

The 40+ minute presentation kicks off on June 4 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST.

Details are scarce, but it’s likely we’ll get a deeper look at Sucker Punch’s PlayStation 5 exclusive sequel, Ghost of Yotei, set to release in October.

Might we also catch a glimpse of Insomniac’s Wolverine game or upcoming projects from Sony’s other studios, like God of War developer Sony Santa Monica, Days Gone creator Bend Studio, or Guerrilla, which is crafting a multiplayer Horizon title?

Sony-owned Bungie is developing Marathon, though its visibility may be limited following a recent art plagiarism controversy. Fairgames, now without Jade Raymond leading the project, remains in development. Last month, Sony introduced teamLFG, a new PlayStation studio, and hinted at its debut live service game.

We could also see titles from external developers partnered with Sony for publishing, such as Phantom Blade Zero.
