The Sims franchise is turning 25, and Electronic Arts is showering players with celebratory gifts! From its humble beginnings as a SimCity offshoot to the narrative-driven game it is today, The Sims has touched countless lives.
The Sims 25th Anniversary Celebration:
EA is throwing a massive 25-day giveaway! Players can claim a free gift each day for 25 days, but they must log in daily as each gift is only available for 24 hours. The celebration extends throughout late February 2025, encompassing updates, re-releases, in-game events, and fresh content across the entire Sims franchise.
The Sims Mobile is also joining the party with a special birthday week, starting March 4th, offering two free gifts to players who log in. Furthermore, EA has collaborated with Spotify to curate a definitive Sims playlist featuring iconic tracks from the series' history.
A Nostalgic Trip Down Memory Lane:
The Sims FreePlay is taking players on a trip back to the 2000s! To commemorate The Sims' 25th anniversary, FreePlay is releasing content reminiscent of the era, featuring iconic elements like flip phones, frosted tips, and velour tracksuits.
Two new live events, "The One with the Coffee Shop" and "Reality Island," offer a nostalgic experience. The "Social Town" update introduces new homes, a helicopter, and a museum showcasing FreePlay's history.
