Netflix's Golden Idol DLC: Sins of New Wells Launches

Netflix’s *Rise of the Golden Idol* is expanding its universe with its first DLC, *The Sins of New Wells*, which is set to launch on mobile devices on March 4th. This exciting addition will also be available on PC and consoles, but for mobile users, it's especially sweet as it comes free with a Netflix Gaming subscription.

What’s in Store?

Prepare for an even deeper dive into mystery, crime, and the enigmatic world of Lemurian magic. *New Wells* is depicted as a city plagued by unprecedented challenges. Enter homicide detective Roy Samson, who finds himself transferred to the notorious 9th District—a place where justice is scarce and corruption is rampant. Teaming up with his new partner, Cliff Savea, Roy uncovers a series of brutal crimes that lead them into a far more sinister plot.

*The Sins of New Wells* introduces four gripping new cases: *Following Orders*, *Trouble Unleashed*, *The Raid*, and *Unraveling*. Each case weaves a complex web of crime, deceit, and mystery. Players will need to sift through lies, uncover hidden motives (everyone has them), and piece together the puzzles to solve these cases. Interrogating mostly dishonest characters and tackling intricate puzzles is part of the challenge, all set against the backdrop of a city teetering on the edge of madness.

Are You a Netflix Subscriber?

If you're a Netflix subscriber, mark your calendars for the launch of *The Sins of New Wells* on mobile at 9 AM PT or 5 PM GMT on March 4th. Developer Color Gray Games has teased that this is just the beginning, with at least four more DLCs planned for 2025. *Rise of the Golden Idol* has already established itself as a premier modern detective game, and now it's accessible for free on the Google Play Store for Netflix subscribers.

Before you go, don't miss out on our coverage of *Good Coffee, Great Coffee*, featuring realistic coffee-making challenges that are sure to brew some excitement!
