Financial instability and the challenges of competing in a saturated global market led to this decision. Despite its initial Japanese success, Gran Saga failed to maintain that momentum internationally.
This closure follows a trend of gacha RPG shutdowns. The competitive mobile gaming market makes it difficult for newer titles to survive long-term. Many players remain loyal to established games, making it challenging for niche titles to gain traction.
