The Last of Us Part 2 PC Specs:
New Content in No Return Mode:
Sony also revealed that two new characters, Bill and Marlene from The Last of Us Part I, will join the No Return Mode. Bill adopts a "Smuggler" playstyle, equipped with a custom pump shotgun from dead drops and double rewards, while being more resilient to melee attacks but unable to dodge. Marlene, on the other hand, follows a "Risk Taker" playstyle, featuring a Custom Assault Rifle, "All or Nothing" gambits, and the ability to reroute her path once per run.
Four new maps will enhance the No Return Mode experience: Overlook, set high above Seattle; School, an abandoned elementary school; Streets, in the overgrown Hillcrest neighborhood; and Nest, an Infected-infested building. These additions aim to offer more variability and excitement for players.
All new No Return content, along with new Trophies and bug fixes, will be available on PS5 concurrently with the PC launch through a free downloadable 2.0.0 patch.
PSN Sign-In Incentives:
The PC version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered includes an optional PSN log-in feature. Logging in with a PSN account grants access to PlayStation overlay, PSN Trophies, 50 in-game points for bonus features, and a new skin for Ellie featuring Jordan A. Mun’s jacket from Naughty Dog’s upcoming PS5 game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. This skin is also unlockable for PS5 players via the 2.0 patch using in-game bonus points.
In related news, Neil Druckmann, the director of The Last of Us, shared insights into Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, which has been in development for four years. The game, starring Tati Gabrielle as Jordan A. Mun, explores themes of faith and religion in an alternate historical timeline.
As anticipation builds, the PC release of The Last of Us Part II Remastered arrives just before Season 2 of HBO's TV adaptation, with showrunners Druckmann and Craig Mazin confirming the return of spores, omitted from the first season.
