Flamigo will make its first appearance during the Carnival of Flamigo event

  • The event runs from February 3rd to 8th
  • Additional bonuses and special encounters will be available throughout

Just after Glimmet made its debut in Pokémon Go through the Into the Depths event, Niantic has already set its sights on the next big reveal. Next up is Flamigo—a vibrant, carnival-themed debut as the Synchronize Pokémon takes center stage next week.

The Carnival of Flamigo event runs from February 3rd to 8th, marking Flamigo’s official debut in Pokémon Go. If you’ve been following the Scarlet and Violet games, this reveal wasn’t surprising, especially after recent introductions of other Gen IX Pokémon like Glimmet and Wattrel.

During the event, Flamigo will appear in the wild alongside Lotad, Buneary, Pikipek, and Spritzee. Shiny hunters will appreciate the boosted odds of encountering Shiny Lotad, Shiny Spritzee, and Shiny Pikipek.

ytSeveral bonuses enhance the experience. Incense and Daily Adventure Incense will last twice as long, and each time you catch Flamigo, you’ll earn an extra 500 Stardust. Event-specific Field Research and Collection Challenges are also available, rewarding XP, Stardust, and additional encounters as you complete them.

A free Timed Research line is available to all players, offering Incense, Stardust, and chances to encounter event Pokémon—just complete it before the event ends. For those seeking more, a paid Timed Research option is available for $4.99, including a Star Piece, an event-themed avatar pose, and extra encounters.

The same $4.99 price grants access to the Carnival of Flamigo Ultra Ticket Box via the Pokémon Go Web Store, which includes the ticket and a bonus Premium Battle Pass.

Don’t overlook the latest Pokémon Go codes if you’re looking to unlock extra free rewards along the way.
