Katamari Damacy Live Hits Apple Arcade: Roll and Stick in Real-Time Fun

By SadieMay 13,2025

Bandai has been redefining the term "snowballing" since 2004, thanks to the whimsical nature of Katamari Damacy. Now, with Katamari Damacy Rolling Live, set to hit Apple Arcade this April, players can dive into an even more absurd adventure. Roll around, stick objects together, and grow your katamari as you gather an assortment of quirky trinkets, simply because you can.

This marks the first original entry in the Katamari Damacy series in years, and it's poised to captivate both long-time fans and newcomers alike. The unique charm of rolling around to stick things together in order to please the King of All Cosmos is undeniably appealing.

As you fulfill the King's objectives, you'll have the chance to light up the sky as a star or discover secret "Cousins" to aid you on your journey. Additionally, you can unlock Channel Badges and Costumes by collecting Royal Presents.

What sets this new installment apart is the modern twist in the narrative: the King will be streaming your efforts live, with viewers commenting on your progress in real-time. This adds an exciting layer of pressure as you work to rebuild a new star.

You'll need to wait until April 3rd to get your hands on Katamari Damacy Rolling Live, which will be exclusive to Apple Arcade subscribers. While you wait, why not check out our list of the most hilarious games on mobile to keep the laughs coming?
