This side quest unlocks after completing either the Mice or Frogs quests for Prochek or Olbram. Finish either quest, and the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" will become available. Simply speak to Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov to begin. Once you've accepted, head to the pasture to initiate the conflict.

Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?

Henry faces another difficult choice. While you can side with either Prochek or Olbram, a more peaceful resolution exists (detailed below). To side with Prochek, tell him "Let's get those Zhelejovites!" in Tachov. To side with Olbram, say "Let's go and see those Tachovites!" in Zhelejov.

During negotiations at the pasture, avoid attempts at reconciliation; this will trigger the fight prematurely. Successfully passing a dialogue check might cause an enemy to flee, making the battle easier. Victory rewards you with groschen.

How to Stop the Feud

For a better outcome, speak to Prochek or Olbram before going to the pasture and ask about ending the feud. Then, travel to Troskowitz and speak with Bailiff Thrush. Select the dialogue option, "You’d finally have some peace."

At the pasture, locate three oak trees in a row. Examine the middle tree to find a nail. You can:

• Leave the nail in the middle tree (equal division).
• Place the nail in the west tree (favors Tachov).
• Place the nail in the east tree (favors Zhelejov).
