Server-Straining Damage Exploit Emerges

The current Diablo 4 season introduces powerful seasonal boss abilities that, when combined strategically, create an infinite damage loop - causing noticeable server slowdowns. Prominent YouTuber Macrobioboi demonstrated this overpowered build on May 9th, showcasing how specific boss powers paired with certain Legendary Aspects can annihilate entire enemy groups.
The exploit requires equipping the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which applies a permanent Vulnerable status effect to enemies until their defeat. This substantially increases damage output.

The glitch occurs when combining this with the Flesh Reaper's Disruption ability - intended to stun enemies while removing Vulnerable status. Vampiric Curse prevents the Vulnerable removal, causing continuous stunning. Completing the combo requires Varshan's Life Steal ability, dealing massive damage with each boss power activation.
This interaction overwhelms game servers due to excessive calculations, as evidenced in popular streamer wudijo's gameplay footage showing enemies perpetually stunned amidst chaotic visual effects. "The sheer number of calculations explains the server strain," wudijo commented.
Blizzard hasn't yet addressed this server-intensive exploit, allowing players to continue decimating enemies - albeit at the cost of game performance.
Premium Berserk Collaboration Raises Concerns

The ongoing Berserk manga collaboration introduces exclusive cosmetics to Diablo 4, though pricing concerns dominate community discussions.
Several free items are obtainable through gameplay via the Berserk Reliquary:
- Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
- Skull Knight's Heraldry Mount Armor
- Brand of Sacrifice Marking
- Foretold Eclipse Headstone
- Od of the Berserker Emblem

The collaboration's premium offerings include:
- The Berserker Armor (Barbarian) - 2,800 Platinum
- The Hawk of Light (Rogue) - 2,800 Platinum
- The Struggler (Rogue) - 2,800 Platinum
- The Skull Knight (Necromancer) - 2,800 Platinum
- The Schnoz Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
- Warhorse of the Hawk Mount Set - 2,500 Platinum
Each cosmetic set costs approximately $28 (half the game's base price), with the complete collection reaching $150 (15,000 Platinum bundle including bonus currency).

While consistent with Blizzard's previous WoW crossover pricing, this establishes a concerning precedent for future collaborations. Many players hesitate despite the high-quality designs due to steep costs.
Diablo IV is available across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.
