Using Your App and Reader with the Same Sensor

When using alarms, remember they can be set up on either your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone, but not simultaneously. To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. Conversely, start the sensor with your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader if you want alarms on the reader. Once started with the reader, you can still scan the sensor with your phone.

Important: The application and the reader do not share data with each other. To get a complete picture of your glucose data, make sure to scan your sensor every 8 hours with the device you're using. Without regular scans, your reports may miss crucial data. You can upload and review data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
