Application Description
Treatment Decision Support
NOTE: This app is ONLY for use as part of a prostate cancer pilot called Wave Active Surveillance. Do NOT download this app unless you have been invited by your Urologist or Radiologist.
To enhance the decision-making process for individuals diagnosed with prostate cancer, a dedicated team of expert Urologists and Radiologists in Berlin, known as the Berlin Expert AS Team, has collaboratively developed the Wave Active Surveillance App (Wave AS). This innovative tool is designed to support Active Surveillance (AS) as a viable management strategy for those with a low-risk profile.
With Wave AS, you can have your medical records reviewed by the Berlin Expert AS Team. By completing a brief set of tasks within the app, you will receive a tailored expert recommendation on whether Active Surveillance is the appropriate path for your condition.
The Wave AS app also provides practical features such as reminders for upcoming appointments and tasks, continuous health status evaluations, and comprehensive resources to help you monitor your prostate cancer effectively.
For any additional inquiries, please consult your doctor or contact our dedicated support team. You can reach the Wave AS Support Team via email at [email protected].
Active Surveillance is a monitoring approach for localized prostate cancer classified as low risk, aimed at avoiding immediate treatment and its potential complications.
