eTide HDF is a comprehensive tides app and widget designed to provide tide charts for locations worldwide, ensuring you're always in sync with the ocean's rhythms. With tide times available for over 10,000 tidal stations in countries including the US, UK, and Canada, the app offers forecasts extending several months into the future. This makes it an invaluable tool for planning your coastal activities well in advance.

One of the standout features of eTide HDF is its ability to store the last 50 tide charts offline, allowing you to access vital tide information even without an internet connection. This feature is particularly useful for those venturing into remote areas where internet access may be limited.

The app's widgets are highly customizable, being resizable from 1x1 to 5x5, and can be displayed as both charts and tables. These widgets are automatically updated to reflect the current day's tide data and can be accessed offline, ensuring you're always equipped with the latest tide information.

For users on the go, eTide HDF tracks your current location to show tides near you, making it easier to plan your day around the tides. The tide graph within the app can be manipulated with simple gestures; swipe left and right to access ocean tides predictions with minute accuracy for the coming days. Additionally, a horizontal line on the graph indicates the optimal time for launching and retrieving your boat. By moving this line, you can adjust the depth to suit your needs, and the app will remember your preferred depth settings for each port.

eTide HDF caters to a global audience by supporting local, telephone, and GMT time, with tide heights available in feet, inches, meters, and centimeters. A unique distance measurement tool helps calculate the distance between two points in miles, kilometers, and nautical miles, adding another layer of utility for users.

Both the app and widgets allow for personalization, with options to change the colors and transparency of charts and tables. Each station can be displayed in its own color, and the app supports day and night themes. The font size can be adjusted for better readability or to display more data on the screen.
