Application Description
Tarneeb is a card game played by two teams, each with players sitting opposite each other. Using a standard 52-card deck, play proceeds counter-clockwise. Each player estimates the number of "Allmat" (tricks) their team can win in each round.
The player who wins the bid to declare "Tarneeb" throws a type of paper onto the floor; other players must throw the same type of paper to continue. The player who throws the matching paper wins the "Bamh" (trick). If a player doesn't have a matching paper, they have the option to declare "Tarneeb." "Tarneeb" papers are superior to other paper types; the player who throws the strongest "Tarneeb" wins, unless another player throws an even stronger one.
The round ends when all players have played. Points are tallied. A team's bid must be met or exceeded to score points. If successful, the team adds the number of "Allmat" won to their score. If unsuccessful, the number of "Allmat" won by the opposing team is added to their score, and the bidding team loses points.
If a team wins 13 "Allmat" without bidding 13, they gain 16 points. A successful bid of 13 earns 26 points. A failed bid of 13 results in a 16-point deduction.
The game concludes when a team reaches a total score of 41 or more, declaring them the winner.
