Introduction to Mind Maze

Mind Maze is a thrilling card game that combines memory skills and strategic mind games. Each round begins with each player receiving 4 cards, all placed face down. At the start of each round, players can peek at their two rightmost cards, setting the stage for strategic gameplay aimed at minimizing the total value of their cards.

Gameplay Mechanics

• Starting the Round: Each player is dealt 4 cards, which remain face down throughout the game. At the beginning of the round, players may look at their two rightmost cards.

• Player Actions: On your turn, you have three options:

  1. Replace the Center Card: You can swap one of your cards with a card in the center pile.
  2. Replicate a Card: You can create a duplicate of one of your cards.
  3. Draw a Card: You can draw a new card from the deck, which you can either keep or discard.

• Special Cards and Their Effects:

  • 7 and 8: Allow you to view one of your own cards.
  • 9 and 10: Permit you to see one card from another player.
  • Eye Master Card: Offers the ability to see one card from each other player or two of your own cards.
  • Swap Card: Enables you to exchange one of your cards with another player's card without revealing them.
  • Replica Card: Allows you to discard any card from your hand.

Ending the Round

The round continues until a player declares "Skru". Once "Skru" is called, the player who said it skips their next turn, and the round concludes after all other players have taken one more turn. Note that "Skru" cannot be declared during the first three turns of a round.

Scoring

At the end of the round, all cards are revealed. The player with the lowest total card value scores 0 points. If multiple players tie for the lowest score, they all score 0 points. However, if the player who declared "Skru" does not have the lowest score, their score for the round is doubled.
