You'll need a Bluetooth or WiFi ELM327-based adapter, which connects to your car's OBD2 port. Piston provides easy-to-follow connection instructions accessible from the Home page after initial installation or within the Settings menu.

Compatibility:

Piston works with OBD-II (OBDII, OBD2) and EOBD standards. This means it's compatible with:

• US vehicles manufactured from 1996 onward.
• EU petrol vehicles from 2001 and diesel vehicles from 2004.
• Australian and New Zealand petrol cars from 2006 and diesel cars from 2007.
