The smart application, Where Is My Bus?, which facilitates public transportation in Istanbul, is now enhanced with user-friendly interfaces and a robust infrastructure!

Where Is My Bus? is the official application of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality General Directorate of IETT Operations. This app enables you to access the routes of bus lines in Istanbul, their timetables, and the lines that pass through specific stops.

You can use Where Is My Bus? to plan your journey to your desired destination!

The app allows you to view nearby stops, Istanbulkart filling points, and İspark points in both list and map formats.

Ask Where Is My Bus To How Can I Go!

Utilize public transportation in Istanbul to reach your destination via multiple routes. To explore route alternatives, simply enter your starting point and destination in the "How To Go" menu, along with your preferred travel date and time. You can plan your journey based on your departure or arrival time. Where Is My Bus? offers various route options, allowing you to choose between the fastest route or one with minimal walking. Select your preferred route and review its details, or follow the route on the map.

Discover your nearest stop

From the "Stops Near Me" menu, you can list the closest stops to your current location sorted by distance. Tap on a stop to view its details, which include the lines that pass through it and the estimated arrival time of the next bus. You can also switch to map view to see the stop's location and get directions.

Find other useful transport points near you

Locate the nearest Istanbulkart filling points or İspark points from your current location with Where Is My Bus?. Access these options from the side menu, where you can view their distances from your current position. You can check the capacities and types of parking lots (such as open or multi-storey). Use the map view to examine these locations and get directions to your chosen point.

Get Line and Route information

Search for bus lines by name to explore their main and express routes. From the line detail page, select a route to see the stops it serves. Monitor the real-time locations of buses, easily identifying express routes through distinct color coding. You can also view all routes of a line on the map by activating the desired routes using the filter icon in the top left corner of the map.

Plan your journey by reviewing the departure times

Access the "Timetables" page either from the homepage or the line detail page. The timetable information pertains to the main route, with express routes indicated separately by their unique colors. To understand which color corresponds to which express route, open the "Route Information" section.

Be aware of announcements

On the detail page of any line or stop, click the "Announcements" icon to get real-time updates. You can also review past announcements about all lines, stops, departure times, and route changes from the "Announcements" page in the side menu.
