Potenza Drive System Compatibility Test: A Comprehensive Guide

Potenza Drive is a demanding application requiring high-speed data transfer from your vehicle's OBD-II port. This guide helps determine your system's compatibility. Performance varies depending on several factors: your mobile device, OBD-II ELM327 adapter (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or USB), vehicle's OBD-II protocol, and sound system. Test 1: Normal Communication Speed

Test 2: High-Speed Communication

Perform a high-speed communication test. Note that this is only supported by certain vehicle OBD-II protocols. The ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol, using a high-quality OBD-II adapter chip, is capable of delivering up to 140 parameters per second. Older protocols may only support 4 parameters per second.
