Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Update Coming Soon

HoYoverse has exciting news for fans of *Zenless Zone Zero* as they announce the launch date for Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past.' This eagerly awaited update is set to roll out on April 23rd, promising to wrap up the gripping narrative of Season 1.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update will finally unravel the mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players will delve deep into Vivian's intricate backstory, while Hugo's fate, previously shrouded in speculation, will be fully explored. Following Hugo's dramatic fall into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS have escalated, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator.

Accompanying Vivian, players will venture into hostile territory to track down the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's journey will involve confronting figures from her past, and the conspiracy involving the Exaltists will begin to unravel. Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering significant Corruption damage when combined with other characters’ EX Special Attacks. The second new character is Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, who uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His attacks trigger a Totalize effect on stunned enemies, scaling damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, joins the fray, throwing cards with random effects. Familiar faces Jane, a Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, a Fire Stun Agent, will also rerun in Version 1.7’s banners.

Version 1.7 brings fresh events to *Zenless Zone Zero*. The 'Say It With Flowers' event allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and creating floral arrangements for customers. Completing commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
