Xbox Game Pass May 2025 Wave 1 Lineup Revealed

Microsoft has unveiled an exciting lineup for the first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for May 2025. In a recent Xbox Wire post, they announced 12 new games joining the service through May 20, with a major highlight being the day-one launch of Doom: The Dark Ages, the latest installment from id Software's renowned first-person shooter series.

Starting off the month, Dredge will be available from May 6 on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, accessible through Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. This single-player fishing adventure delves into a mysterious archipelago, where players uncover secrets beneath the waves.

May 7 is packed with new additions: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be accessible on Cloud, Console, and PC via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Dungeons of Hinterberg, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and Metal Slug Tactics will also join the lineup on this date, each available on their respective platforms and through Game Pass Standard.

On May 8, subscribers can dive into two new titles: Revenge of the Savage Planet, a day-one release on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed, which will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 returns to the Game Pass library on May 13, available on Cloud and Console through Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard. This cooperative game set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world offers intense first-person combat and new career paths.

The much-anticipated Doom: The Dark Ages arrives on May 15 as a day-one title on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, accessible through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This prequel to the modern Doom series promises a dark and sinister medieval war against Hell.

Following closely, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo launches on May 16 on Cloud, Console, and PC through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, offering a unique papercraft adventure in the world of Limbo.

Finally, wrapping up the lineup on May 20, Firefighting Simulator: The Squad and Police Simulator: Patrol Officers will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC through Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.
