The easiest method is purchasing from merchants located off Alola Beach in Honolulu. These merchants, Grayson’s Weapons at Sea and Nolan’s Boat (marked on the map above), only appear after exploring the nearby ocean waters. Each shrimp costs a mere $1.60.
Catching Shrimp While Swimming:
Alternatively, you can catch shrimp while swimming in the same area. Simply swim towards fish silhouettes and press the "Catch" prompt. However, Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp are relatively uncommon; buying from a merchant is generally more efficient. If funds are low, a quick encounter with beachside thugs usually provides enough cash for a purchase.
