Inferno Dragon Evolution Upgrade Debuts in Clash Royale After 9-Year Wait

Clash Royale has finally introduced the highly anticipated Inferno Dragon Evolution. Following a nine-year absence of upgrades, this legendary fire-breather receives a substantial power boost. Supercell commemorated the occasion with an exclusive collaboration featuring Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola.

Fiery Negotiations Take Center Stage

A decade after its initial release, the Inferno Dragon commands attention in a new Clash Royale promotional campaign. Comedian Ismo Leikola delivers a standout performance as the creature's unconventional talent agent, angling for fame.

The dragon temporarily abandons its Clash Royale responsibilities to pursue Hollywood ambitions.

Witness the Inferno Dragon's explosive evolution and Leikola's comedic negotiation tactics at Supercell's headquarters.

The evolved Inferno Dragon significantly alters battlefield dynamics. Unlike its basic version that resets damage when switching targets, the upgraded model preserves its escalating damage output for maximum effectiveness.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Kicks Off New Clash Royale Season

The "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season reintroduces 2v2 League battles alongside the Inferno Dragon upgrade. Players can team up with friends or random allies to climb the competitive ladder.

Progression-based events beginning at Arena 7 offer valuable prizes including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Book of Cards, and unique cosmetics.

Crown Chase events feature multiple reward waves - the first offering a decorated Battle Banner and Epic Book, followed by additional banners and Evolution materials.

June and early July will host several special game modes showcasing Evolution mechanics:

  • Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
  • Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) with exclusive emotes
  • Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allowing quadruple Evolutions
  • Magical Trio (June 16-23)
  • 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
  • Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) permitting eight Evolution cards per deck
