Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2: A DRM-Free Experience
No Microtransactions, Either!
In a recent FAQ, Saber Interactive provided a comprehensive overview of what players can expect. Approaching its September 9th release, the studio has reiterated its commitment to a DRM-free experience. While DRM is often used to combat piracy, it's also known to sometimes negatively impact performance.
Although DRM is absent, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will utilize Easy Anti-Cheat on PC. Easy Anti-Cheat has faced scrutiny in the past, notably concerning an Apex Legends hacking incident.
Currently, there are no plans for official mod support. However, the game boasts exciting features including a PvP arena, horde mode, and a robust photo mode. Importantly, Saber Interactive assures players that all gameplay content is free, with microtransactions and DLC limited to cosmetic items only.
