But the fun doesn't stop at catching Vanillite. If you evolve it into Vanilluxe during the event or up until May 4th, you'll unlock a special Charged Attack called Avalanche. This powerful move boasts 90 power in Trainer Battles and 85 power in Gyms and Raids, significantly boosting your battle prowess.
For those looking to immerse themselves further in the icy festivities, a Community Day Special Research ticket is available for $2. By completing the tasks, you'll enjoy encounters with Vanillite against a Might and Mastery-themed special background, along with additional Vanillite encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and other rewards.
The excitement extends beyond the event day with a Timed Research opportunity available through the following week, offering another chance to catch Vanillite with the exclusive backdrop. Additionally, event-themed Field Research tasks will provide opportunities to earn Stardust, Great Balls, and more encounters with Vanillite, some of which may feature the special event background.
Throughout the event, several bonuses will be active to enhance your experience. You'll earn triple XP for catches, double Candy for each Pokémon caught, and Trainers level 31 and above will have double the odds of receiving Candy XL.
