Ted Lasso Season 4 on the Way, Jason Sudeikis Confirms

By CalebMar 21,2025

Jason Sudeikis, star and producer of Ted Lasso, has officially confirmed that Season 4 is in the works. The announcement was made during a conversation with Jason and Travis Kelce on their New Heights sports podcast. The brothers pressed Sudeikis for an update on the beloved Apple TV+ series, following the conclusion of Season 3 in summer 2023. Sudeikis revealed, "That's what we're writing. We're writing Season 4 now. That's the official word, yeah. Ted's coaching a women's team."

This confirmation, nearly two years in the making, will be welcome news to fans. While details remain scarce, including whether Season 4 will be the final season and the show's location, even Travis Kelce couldn't pry a definitive answer from Sudeikis regarding Ted's potential return to the U.S. Sudeikis responded with a laugh, "Yeah, that's too many questions, and that's only because I don't know."

Meanwhile, Deadline reports that Juno Temple (Keeley) is in negotiations to return, joining Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie), who are already confirmed. Deadline's sources suggest filming for Episode 1 of Season 4 will likely begin in Kansas City before the action moves back to the UK, with production aiming to start in July.

Apple TV+ is actively re-engaging fans. While a release date and plot details remain under wraps, the show's official X/Twitter account has playfully acknowledged its unexpected hiatus:

Finally found the dang password to this thing.

Sorry y’all. What’d I miss?
