DC Studios has unveiled an exciting new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn, set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. This three-minute trailer provides a deeper glimpse into the extensive ensemble of superheroes and supervillains featured in the film. Fans get to see Nathan Fillion in action as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, effortlessly batting away enemies, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and a clearer view of María Gabriela de Faría's character, The Engineer.

The trailer reveals that it's The Engineer who wreaks havoc on the robots within Superman's Fortress of Solitude, including the beloved Kelex. This scene was teased in a previous trailer where a devastated Superman was seen cradling Kelex after a battle. Additionally, Krypto the Superdog makes a heroic entrance, delivering a flying punch to The Engineer, showcasing his fearless nature in combat.

The trailer also offers more footage of Lex Luthor, played by Nicholas Hoult, and Ultraman in action. There's an increased focus on Edi Gathegi's portrayal of Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason / Metamorpho. The mysterious Hammer of Boravia, introduced in a teaser trailer the day before, makes an appearance as anticipated. This new character, crafted by Gunn, is speculated to be Ultraman in disguise.

The dynamic between Clark Kent and Lois Lane takes center stage, with Lois conducting an interview with Clark in his Superman persona. The conversation escalates into a heated argument over the morality of Superman's controversial involvement in an overseas conflict, with Superman defending his actions as, "I wasn’t representing anyone except for me... and doing good!" In retaliation, The Hammer of Boravia launches an attack on Downtown Metropolis.

In another gripping scene, likely from the same battle, a civilian comes to Superman's aid, helping him out of a hole in the ground. This act of kindness stands in stark contrast to other scenes where the public is shown to be hostile towards Superman, screaming and even throwing objects at him.
