Subway Surfers 13th Anniversary: Tour 21 Cities in 21 Days!

Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has planned an exciting global event starting on May 12th. This anniversary marks a thrilling journey back to the game's roots and beyond!

The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!

The celebration kicks off in Copenhagen, where Subway Surfers first began. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital before embarking on a unique daily city-hopping challenge. Players can run through Copenhagen and unlock up to 21 other iconic cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To explore these destinations, players must collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each city to unlock the next.

This update also marks the 200th destination in Subway Surfers' World Tour series, a tradition that started back in 2013. Currently, the game is set in Osaka, where players can enjoy neon lights, traditional aesthetics, and exclusive content. New characters, Saru and Oni Hime, are introduced here. Saru can be unlocked through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime is available via a special offer. Additionally, new social features such as Player Names and Friend Lists are being rolled out.

Gear Up for the Subway Surfers 13th Anniversary

Since its debut on May 23rd, 2012, Subway Surfers has grown to boast 150 million monthly players and over four billion downloads worldwide. This milestone calls for a grand celebration. After 12 years and visits to 199 cities, the game continues to connect players globally through its rich, local scenery.

From May 12th to June 1st, players can enjoy bonus content, including two new travel-themed characters, Loc and Stevie, along with new outfits, hoverboards, and rewards.

Get the game from the Google Play Store.
