Subnautica: Mobile Pre-registration Now Open for Underwater Survival Adventure

Subnautica, the critically acclaimed deep-sea survival game originally launched in 2018 for PC and Mac, is finally making its way to mobile platforms. Following its successful releases on PlayStation, Xbox, and next-gen consoles, the game is set to captivate players on Android starting July 8th, 2025. Unknown Worlds, the developers behind the title, recently released a stunning trailer showcasing the game’s mobile version, proving that its graphics remain impressive even on smaller screens.

If you’re unfamiliar with Subnautica, here’s a quick overview. As Ryley Robinson, the sole survivor of a shipwrecked vessel named The Aurora, you find yourself stranded on the ocean-covered planet 4546B. This survival adventure challenges you to gather resources, manage oxygen levels, and fend off sea creatures while constructing submarines, bases, and tools. Along the way, mysterious clues scattered throughout the ocean hint at the planet’s history and the key to your escape.

For those eager to dive in, pre-registration is now open on the Google Play Store, where the game will be available for $8.99. Subnautica features revamped touchscreen controls and controller compatibility, along with Google Play Games achievements and cloud saving options for seamless progress across devices.
