All Side Story Locations in Split Fiction

While Split Fiction boasts a linear co-op adventure, it's peppered with delightful detours: Side Stories. Though optional, these offer some of the game's most memorable moments – think pig transformations and deadly game show appearances! Completing all 12 unlocks an achievement, so let's explore how to find them all.

How To Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction

Chapters 2 through 5 each hide three Side Stories. Here's a complete guide:

Chapter 2

• Legend of the Sandfish: This Side Story appears naturally after completing the "Rush Hour" section. You can't miss it.
• Farmlife: Located in the "Streets of Neon" section, after hopping a small barrier, before reaching the elevators on the left.
• Mountain Hike: Found in "Big City Life." Reach the Port-A-Potties; have Mio enter one, then use Zoe to toss her to the opposite ledge with a ladder. Have Mio drop the ladder for access.

Chapter 3

• Train Heist: In "Lord Evergreen," while navigating the water with a plank, locate the ledge requiring a wall run from both Mio and Zoe.
• Gameshow: Within "Walking Sticks of Doom," this Side Story is on a platform after the side-scrolling section; some light platforming is required.
• Collapsing Star: Found in "Halls of Ice," on the main path through the palace; it's hard to miss.

Chapter 4

• Kites: Located at the end of the long tube in "Toxic Tumblers."
• Moon Market: In "Test Chamber," after the crane sequence, it's on a left-hand ledge accessible via some platforming.
• Notebook: The final Chapter 4 Side Story, found in "Soaring Desperados." After acquiring the jetpack, avoid the giant wheel and locate it on the left.
