"Kay’s ship, the Trailblazer, is a fitting name, yet Star Wars Outlaws doesn’t bring many fresh ideas to action or open-world genres. Much like the Millennium Falcon, it’s a patchwork of familiar elements, occasionally glitchy, but at its peak, it delivers a thrilling Star Wars experience. A smart syndicate system adds depth to nearly every choice, with creative quests that often surprise. Having Nix as a constant companion enhances Kay’s standard smuggler persona and equips her with versatile skills. However, the stealth and combat mechanics feel stiff and repetitive, and launch bugs are hard to ignore. The odds of a flawless experience? Roughly 3,720 to one. But you likely didn’t want those odds anyway."
