Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free Early-Game Powerhouse
Stalker 2 offers a variety of armor suits to enhance survival within The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a standout among the SEVA series, is particularly valuable due to its high PSI protection and the fact it's obtainable early in the game at no cost. Here's how to acquire this crucial piece of equipment.
Locating the SEVA-V Suit
The SEVA-V suit is located at the Scientist Helicopter Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is situated southwest of the Rostok base, in a large field featuring a crashed helicopter amidst an Electro anomaly and a large, rusty crane. Reaching the suit requires a bit of climbing.
Accessing the Crane and the Suit
Upon entering the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll observe the crashed helicopter within the Electro anomaly (to the right) and a ladder leading up the rusty crane (to the left). Before ascending the crane, it's advisable to use an artifact detector to retrieve an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field near the helicopter—this will aid in navigating the area.
Climb the crane's ladder. Once at the top, move right across the crane structure to the operator's cabin (on the left). Carefully jump the gap to the cabin's interior. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend the crane.
SEVA-V Suit Stats and Uses
The SEVA-V suit, upgradable by the Rostok base technician, Screw, boasts significant radiation protection and respectable PSI protection. It offers four artifact slots for further customization. If you already possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
