The Sims 4 celebrates 25 years of immersive gameplay with its newest expansion pack: "The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies," launching March 6th, 2025. This expansion allows players to transform their Sims' passions into profitable ventures.
This exciting addition builds upon previous expansions, offering a fresh approach to career progression. Instead of traditional career paths, Sims can now establish and manage their own businesses.
New Skills & Business Opportunities:
The expansion introduces two new skills: Tattooing and Pottery. Sims can open their own tattoo parlors, designing and applying custom tattoos, or establish pottery studios, crafting and selling unique clay creations. Existing expansion packs also integrate seamlessly, allowing players to open a variety of businesses, including:
- Pet Cafes (Cats & Dogs)
- Karaoke Bars (City Living)
- Dance Clubs/Arcades (Get Together)
- Acting Schools (Get Famous)
- Bowling Alleys (Bowling Night Stuff)
- Spas (Spa Day)
- Laundromats (Laundry Day Stuff)
Business Strategies & The Nordhaven Location:
A novel Business Perk system lets players choose a business strategy: Dreamer (customer satisfaction focused), Schemer (profit-driven), or Neutral (balanced approach). Each strategy offers unique gameplay and interactions.
The expansion also introduces Nordhaven, a charming coastal town brimming with artistic energy, perfect for establishing a new business or pursuing hobbies.
