Silent Hill f Gamescom Trailer Reveals Suzie Yeung as Hinako

By NatalieOct 10,2026

Silent Hill f made its debut at Gamescom Opening Night Live tonight with a brand-new trailer, offering our first glimpse of Suzie Yeung as Hinako, the game’s lead character.

The trailer begins with Hinako awakening in a dim, shadowy room, disoriented. As she moves through the space, she finds herself in what appears to be an ancient shrine, eventually following a figure carrying a blue lantern deeper inside. She’s soon attacked by the grotesque dolls seen in earlier trailers, while fleeting glimpses of other eerie chambers within the shrine unfold.

The scene shifts to a rain-soaked old house—Hinako recognizes it as her own. Her clothing is torn and stained with blood, as a chilling female voice instructs her to kill everyone. She then faces off against one of her classmates. Overall, it’s less overtly violent than the previous trailer, yet still deeply unsettling.

Silent Hill f is set in 1960s Japan, with a narrative crafted by Ryukishi07 that explores the contrast between beauty and horror. First revealed in 2022, it’s confirmed as a standalone entry in the series, Japan’s first M-rated Silent Hill title, and features disturbing content warnings. Recent updates also confirm it will feature heavy combat, with series producer Motoi Okamoto stating, “Challenging action games are growing in popularity among younger players, so we believed integrating these elements would resonate strongly—even with newcomers to the series.”

Silent Hill f launches soon, on September 25 of this year, for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. We played it for five hours earlier this month—read our preview right here.
