Catch Shroodle and Grafaiai in Pokémon GO: A Guide to the Fashion Week Event
Pokémon GO trainers have a new challenge: acquiring the recently introduced Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Unlike many Pokémon, these aren't readily available as wild spawns. This guide details how to obtain both.
Shroodle's Arrival in Pokémon GO
Shroodle, the Toxic Mouse Pokémon, made its Pokémon GO debut on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. While initially event-exclusive, it will remain available afterward.
Is Shroodle Shiny?
At launch, Shroodle's Shiny variant is unavailable in Pokémon GO. Expect its Shiny form to appear in a future event, potentially one focused on Poison-types or Team GO Rocket.
How to Get Shroodle
Shroodle is exclusively obtained by hatching 12KM Eggs. These eggs, collected from January 15th onward, have a chance to contain Shroodle. The chances are likely higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event.
Acquiring 12KM Eggs
12KM Eggs are a rare commodity, only obtainable by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. The Fashion Week event is an ideal time to stock up, as Rocket Radars will be more accessible. However, you can battle GO Rocket Grunts at any time to eventually encounter the Leaders.
Obtaining Grafaiai
Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also arrived on January 15th. It cannot be hatched or found in the wild; evolution is the only method. Evolution requires 50 Shroodle Candy, necessitating multiple Shroodle hatches or using a Shroodle as your buddy Pokémon.
