Season 8: Sandlord of Torchlight: Infinite Launches This Month

Torchlight: Infinite has just unveiled the thrilling details of its upcoming Season 8: Sandlord, set to launch on April 17th. This season promises to revolutionize the ARPG experience with new floating cities, economic gameplay, and the chance to win real-world prizes, heralding a significant expansion of content.

In Season 8, players won't merely be battling through hordes of monsters; they'll be constructing an empire in the skies with the innovative Sandlord mechanic. The new Cloud Oasis feature introduces a dynamic economic system where players can trade resources, manage workforce, and oversee production lines to fortify their aerial stronghold.

Thea makes a comeback in this season with an exciting twist. Her new Blasphemer trait swaps her divine abilities for the curse of Desecration. This curse begins modestly but escalates dramatically, enhancing Erosion damage based on the depletion of her blessing power. Players can further tailor this trait for area-of-effect explosions or health-scaling effects, making it a perfect fit for enthusiasts of damage-over-time and synergistic setups.

Endgame content in Torchlight: Infinite is receiving a major overhaul. Deep Space has been completely transformed with the addition of five new stages, expanded maps, and more formidable foes. A new Probes system allows players to adjust the level of risk and potential rewards, with Compass Probes offering the chance to unlock Compass chests filled with superior loot.

The update also brings the innovative Blending System for belt crafting, enabling players to integrate Hero Traits, Talent nodes, and unique affixes into a single item slot, offering deeper build customization.
