Old School RuneScape Launches

Old School RuneScape is preparing for a bingo-style event known as Grid Master. Jagex has announced this upcoming limited-time community event, scheduled to run from October 15th, 2025, through November 12th.

The event centers on a 7×7 grid filled with challenges from across the game. Each tile might require boss fights, skilling, quests, minigames, or other objectives. Completing one helps you advance across the board and grants rewards such as relics, XP boosts, or completed quests.

In addition, finishing an entire row or column unlocks more significant rewards to assist with the remaining tiles. Every completed task also earns Grid Points, a special event currency that can be spent on exclusive cosmetic items once the event concludes.

Jagex has designed an in-game interface that resembles a real bingo card. Players can choose their own path across the grid, adding a layer of challenge and strategic planning. Check out a preview of the upcoming event right here!

Are you a free-to-play player?

Fortunately, Old School RuneScape has included free-to-play players in Grid Master. They will have dedicated event worlds with a selection of tile challenges and some of the same powerful rewards. Members, on the other hand, will have access to the complete experience.

Reportedly, Jagex intends to poll the bingo grid system for potential permanent integration into the main game worlds. The long-term vision is for players to eventually design their own custom grids, create unique task lists, and share them with others.

For the time being, it remains a temporary event that combines the fun of clan bingo with the fast-paced progression of Leagues in an entirely new format. You can download the game via the Google Play Store.
