Dive into the thrilling world of the cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.*, where up to six players work together in a physics-based retrieval mission across various maps. Your goal? To locate and extract valuables. But, to ensure your efforts aren't lost, understanding how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.* is crucial.

How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

One of the most disheartening experiences for gamers is loading up their game, only to find that their recent progress hasn't been saved. This can be particularly frustrating with new games like *R.E.P.O.*, where autosave features might not be as straightforward as you'd hope. Missing the tutorial on saving, or if the instructions are not clear, can lead to a lot of lost progress.

In *R.E.P.O.*, it's essential to remember that the game autosaves only when you successfully complete a level. There is no manual save option available. If you quit during a mission or die, which sends you to the Disposal Arena, your progress will be lost, and you'll need to start that level over from the beginning. Once you die in *R.E.P.O.*, your save file is deleted, and exiting mid-level means you'll have to restart that location.

To save your game, you must complete the level by delivering your valuables to the Extraction Point. After that, you need to enter (or find your way back to) the truck and hold the message button above your head. This action signals your AI boss, the Taxman, that it's time to move to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop and prepare for your next mission. Use the same button to proceed to the next level.

Once you've left the Service Station and arrived at your next location, you can safely exit to the main menu or quit the game. The next time you or the host (if another player created the original save file) starts the game, you can jump back into *R.E.P.O.* as usual. It's important to note that the host is responsible for exiting at the right time to ensure the game saves correctly. When the host quits, other players will also be logged out.

Now that you're equipped with the knowledge of how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.*, explore our other guides to enhance your team's performance on your next mission.
