Launched in March 2023, the Sony Bravia XR X93L stands as the second highest-end non-OLED TV in Sony's lineup, just below the X95L, which was exclusively available in an 85" screen size in the United States. The X93L features advanced Mini LED technology, which significantly enhances HDR content. The LED-backlit panels consist of an array of LEDs that can independently turn on and off, improving black levels and contrast ratios. With Mini-LED, the smaller and more numerous LEDs allow for even finer control of brightness levels within the same scene.

Gamers will find the X93L particularly appealing. It's equipped with four HDMI ports, two of which meet the HDMI 2.1 specification. This allows for 4K output at up to 120Hz refresh rate, ideal for current-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
