In *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, your journey to feudal Japan isn't just about eliminating targets as a samurai or a shinobi. To earn the A Rare Occurrence trophy and achievement, you'll need to complete all the legendary Sumi-E. This guide will help you navigate through this artistic challenge.

Legendary Sumi-E are unique ancient paintings of animals that Naoe or Yasuke can create while exploring the wilds of Japan. When you're close to one, a painting icon will appear on your compass and map. To capture these, you need to crouch and sneak up on the animal. Once you're near, hold L2/LT to complete the painting. However, unlike regular Sumi-E, legendary ones don't show up on the map, making them trickier to find. There are five legendary Sumi-E in the game, and their availability depends on the season and time of day.
