With Monster Hunter Wilds launching February 28th, time is running out to claim those coveted pre-order bonuses. This guide breaks down every pre-order incentive and edition to help you decide if pre-ordering is worth it.

Platform Availability:

Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It's notably absent from Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 due to performance limitations. A potential Nintendo Switch 2 release remains unconfirmed.

Pre-Order Bonuses:

Pre-ordering before February 28th unlocks:

  • Hunter Layered Armor Set: Guild Knight
  • Talisman: Hope Charm

The pre-order DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds, the Guild Knight Set and Hope Charm.

The Hope Charm's exact function remains undisclosed, but past games suggest a combat advantage.

Game Editions:

Several editions offer varying levels of bonus content:

  • Standard Edition ($69.99): Base game + pre-order content. Available digitally and physically on consoles, digitally on PC.
  • Deluxe Edition ($89.99): Base game + pre-order content + an extensive cosmetic DLC pack (layered armor sets, decorations, gestures, hairstyles, etc.). Available digitally on PC and consoles.
  • Premium Deluxe Edition ($109.99): Base game + pre-order content + Deluxe Edition content + premium bonus content at launch, plus two additional cosmetic DLC packs (Spring & Summer 2025). Available digitally on PC and consoles.

Japan-Exclusive Collector's Editions:

Two physical Collector's Editions are currently only available in Japan:

  • Collector's Edition ($68): Seikret plush, weapon bag, steelbook (game not included).
  • Ultra Collector's Edition ($1,140): Base game + pre-order content + Seikret plush, weapon bag, steelbook, and a Monster Hunter Wilds Secret Folding Bicycle (shipped separately around April 2025).
