Set to launch on July 18, 2025, the expansions named Scarlet & Violet: Black Bolt and Scarlet & Violet: White Flare will captivate fans worldwide at participating retailers.
These expansions bring a nostalgic focus on the 156 Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region. Each Unova Pokémon will be showcased in either an illustration rare or a special illustration rare card, with unique versions available in each expansion set. Scarlet & Violet: Black Bolt will feature the Legendary Pokémon Zekrom, while Scarlet & Violet: White Flare will showcase Reshiram. Both sets are set to introduce three types of parallel foil patterns, including two that display either a rainbow Poké Ball or Master Ball design across the card, adding a layer of excitement and rarity to the collection.
Additionally, the expansions will bring back cherished elements from the Black & White series, such as nostalgic foil styles and Basic Energy cards designed in the original Black & White series format, making it a delightful throwback for long-time fans.
