Pokémon Go Fest 2025: Serene Retreat with Ancient Giants

If you're a fan of Pokémon GO, you're in for a treat as the game gears up for its highly anticipated journey to the global GO Fest 2025. This year promises a lineup of exciting events, including the return of legendary giants and the introduction of some powerful Gigantamax Pokémon.

What’s Coming Up in Pokémon GO Global GO Fest 2025?

The festivities kick off with the Serene Retreat event, running from May 30th to June 3rd, 2025. During this period, you'll encounter Pokémon such as Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala, and Hatenna. Keep your eyes peeled for a shiny Snorlax or Chimecho!

Gigantamax Rillaboom makes its debut in six-star Max Battles from May 31st to June 1st, marking the first time this Pokémon appears in Pokémon GO.

The main event, Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global, takes place on June 28th and 29th. This worldwide celebration is free to join from anywhere, featuring millions of trainers. You can watch the live stream here.

Purchasing a ticket grants access to exclusive bonuses, including a meet-up with the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion, which is set to make its global debut following appearances in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.

Before the main event, another major event is scheduled—the Ancients Recovered, running from June 23rd to June 27th, 2025. This event revives the Legendary Titans and their elemental counterparts, with each day highlighting a different five-star raid boss. Special Raid Hours run from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time.

• June 23rd: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.
• June 24th: Regieleki.
• June 25th: Regidrago.
• June 26th: Regigigas.
• June 27th: All Legendary Titans return for a grand finale.

Catchable Legendary Pokémon will know exclusive moves:

• Regirock: Earthquake
• Regice: Thunder
• Registeel: Zap Cannon
• Regieleki: Thunder Cage
• Regidrago: Dragon Breath and Dragon Energy
• Regigigas: Crush Grip

Six-star Max Battles during this event will also feature Gigantamax Cinderace and Inteleon alongside Gigantamax Rillaboom.
