Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetics

The second phase of Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event is underway, bringing fresh cosmetic rewards to players. The in-game shop now boasts a suite of Blastoise-themed items, including a new icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat.

This second part of the event runs until January 22nd, while the event shop remains open until January 28th. Players aiming to acquire all the event goodies should make daily logins a priority, as event tickets cease distribution on January 22nd, though items remain purchasable until the 28th.

Following a busy holiday period filled with generous login bonuses, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster packs and eagerly anticipate the next expansion, rumored for a late January release. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

The new Blastoise cosmetics provide a compelling reason for daily engagement. Players can also exchange surplus event tickets for Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket, up to 1000 Shinedust total).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap

The first part, starting January 6th, introduced promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander, boasting unique artwork despite identical attacks to their standard counterparts. These, along with a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions, tied to Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire and Water-type cards, award Event Shop Tickets. These missions are cumulative across both event parts, and the Bonus Pick also offers additional tickets. Daily logins are strongly advised to collect all promo cards, as trading these limited items may not be possible, according to ongoing speculation.
