Pokemon Center Hiroshima Relocates, Unveils Gyarados Plaza

Pokemon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025, reopening at a new location in April 2025. Simultaneously, a new Gyarados Plaza is launching in March.

New Location for Pokemon Center Hiroshima

The store's new address will be the second floor of Ekie, Hiroshima Station's north exit. Currently situated on the sixth floor of Sogo Hiroshima's Main Building, the store's move marks a significant change after its opening in June 2015.

Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station

The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will debut on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Initially, reservations will be required to use the playground equipment; details will be released on the official Minamoa website.

Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event

Before its closure, Pokemon Centers across Japan (including Hiroshima) will host a nationwide event celebrating "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker by presenting a password obtained from a specific Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024).

Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also feature photo opportunities with Poke-lun TV hosts. This event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025, and excludes Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafes, and Pikachu Sweets.
