Persona 5: The Phantom X is set to make its global debut, with Android pre-registrations now open. The developers have confirmed June 26th, 2025 as both the Japanese and worldwide release date.
After initially launching in China last year followed by Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, and Hong Kong across Android, iOS, and PC platforms, SEGA and Atlus are now preparing for a full international rollout.
Persona 5: The Phantom X Global Pre-Registration Now Available
Created by Black Wing Game Studio with contributions from original Persona 5 developers, Phantom X adopts a free-to-play structure featuring a gacha system for character collection.
The global version will include original Japanese voice acting with optional English or Japanese subtitles. Fans can now secure their early access through Google Play Store pre-registration.
Phantom X introduces a brand-new protagonist leading their own crew of Phantom Thieves through a stylized Tokyo filled with fresh palaces and mementos.
The game preserves the franchise's hallmark turn-based combat while blending social simulation elements with dungeon exploration. Players will discover new features including a guild system, Velvet Trials PvE mode, and cameos from original Persona 5 characters.
The narrative begins with the main character awakening from terrifying dreams into a distorted reality, eventually encountering the enigmatic talking owl Lefaye and the Velvet Room's mysterious inhabitants.
