Pawn Shop and 'Fancy Stuff' Added in Schedule I Update 0.3.4

By VioletMay 16,2025

Developer Tyler has released the highly anticipated 0.3.4 update for the viral hit drug dealer simulator, *Schedule I*, following a short testing period. The update's details were shared via Steam patch notes, marking the first significant content update since the game's explosive early access launch on March 24.

The 0.3.4 update introduces a range of new features, including a functional pawn shop, a boutique store, and various wall decorations. In a Steam post, Tyler apologized for the delay, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He assured players that larger monthly updates would commence next month, promising smoother and timelier releases.

Looking ahead, Tyler outlined his priorities for addressing remaining bugs, including ensuring consistent employee performance, preventing save game corruption, and minimizing multiplayer disconnections and loading issues. He mentioned consulting with Valve to improve the save file format for better integration with Steam Cloud saves and less susceptibility to corruption. Additionally, Tyler aims to enhance game optimization and achieve Steam Deck verification, using it as a performance benchmark.

PlaySchedule I topped Steam's sales charts upon its launch, outpacing major titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, thanks to its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players progress from small-time dealers to powerful kingpins, managing the production and distribution of various drugs in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

*Schedule I* is developed and published by TVGS, the indie Australian developer Tyler, who described the game's explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a Reddit post, Tyler expressed his gratitude and surprise at the response, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment, I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
