Overwatch 2 & LE SSERAFIM Collab Once Again With New Skins, Emotes and Challenges

Get ready for another exciting crossover as Overwatch 2 teams up once again with the popular K-pop girl group, LE SSERAFIM. This collaboration is set to launch on March 18, 2025, and promises to bring a host of new content that fans of both Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM won't want to miss.

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025

The much-anticipated collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM is timed to celebrate the release of LE SSERAFIM's new album, "Hot." This event will introduce a range of brand-new skins, emotes, and in-game challenges, building on the success of their previous collaboration in November 2023, which celebrated the song "Perfect Night." The excitement was ramped up when Overwatch 2 shared a trailer on Twitter (X) on March 11, confirming the upcoming event. Blizzard had previously hinted at this collaboration during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.

Players can look forward to new skins for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored skins from the 2023 collab event will be available for purchase, featuring LE SSERAFIM versions of Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte. However, the Concert Clash mode, which was a highlight of the first collaboration, will not return as it was specifically linked to the "Perfect Night" music video. Instead, players can earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by completing event-specific challenges.

Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights on the collaboration with Polygon on March 11. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett stated. She further explained that while they don't have a song specifically created for Overwatch, they are embracing K-pop culture by creating a visualizer for one of the new tracks from LE SSERAFIM's album and introducing a variety of new cosmetics.

The second collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025. Leading up to the event, fans can tune into the Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST on Twitch and YouTube. The livestream will feature members of LE SSERAFIM and provide a detailed look at the new skins.
