Beware of Scams and Scalpers!
Reports indicate a Steam-based scam involving fraudulent Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test invites. These malicious links redirect users to phishing sites, potentially compromising accounts and spreading the scam via mass friend list messaging. FromSoftware emphasizes that official registration and confirmation occurred solely through their website and social media channels.
Exploiting the excitement, scalpers are already listing "confirmed test codes" on various online marketplaces for exorbitant prices ($150-$200 or more), despite codes not being released until February 11th.
