- Monster Hunter Now's seventh season launches on September 18th
- The update brings numerous new features and gameplay improvements
- Most notably, it introduces exploration bases for the first time
Monster Hunter Now has successfully adapted the popular monster hunting experience to mobile platforms. Whether crafting weapons from monster parts or battling terrifying creatures, the game captures the franchise's essence. Now, with season 7, the social aspect gets a major upgrade through the introduction of Exploration Bases!
What exactly are exploration bases?
If you're familiar with Niantic's Pokémon Go, you'll recognize these as similar to Pokéstops. Like Pokéstops, players in the same vicinity can collaborate to gradually improve Exploration Bases.
This cooperative feature becomes even more accessible with the addition of selectable monster groups, letting players customize which creatures appear in their hunting grounds. Complete details about this functionality will release alongside season 7 on September 18th.

Building on Success
Following the summer update presents a challenge for Niantic's Monster Hunter Now team, but season seven promises to deliver exceptional content. And yes - new monsters are joining the fray, including Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron!
The update will also feature Riftborne Deviljho alongside new skills: pursuit, ballistics, reckless, guard up, vital fire, and vital ice. Additional improvements include enhanced style customization, reduced weapon material requirements, and numerous other adjustments. When September 18th arrives, hunters will find plenty of reasons to return to the game.
